How to process a Marriott Reservation

Please follow these steps to process a Marriott (HVMI) Reseration

** These reservations are a direct connect like Airbnb and reservation are locked **

  • MARRIOTT WEB ORDERS


    Open the email in Track

    • There will only be 1 email that should be saved in G:Shared drives > Reservations Dept Share > Attach Marriott Itineraries in Track
      • Save as:  Last Name - Itinerary
    • This should also be saved in the reservation (Track) in Attachments
      • Label as Marriott Itinerary

    Add a “Housekeeping” note in the reservation stating:

    • Do not discuss $$ with Guest as they Pay with Points

    Agreement and ID request will be sent via Akia automatically


    Process City Contract (See “Creating a City Contract”


    Copy contract # provided in MuniRev and paste in the reservations notes (no category)


    Update the Contract Management Sheet with a “comment” with the contract number for management to transfer the information



    ** Note ** Any special requests must be collected from the guest directly and can not be requested via Marriott - We will need a Credit Card for any of these requests

    • Pool Heating
    • Early Check in or Late Check out
    • Adding a pet

    All communications with these guests should be done via Akia unless it is an email from the guest.
