Annual Fit & Finish Inspection

During onboarding or annual visits, Acme requires a cost-effective 2-hour Fit & Finish Inspection. This required inspection identifies opportunities such as furnishing repairs, carpet cleans, organization issues, operation of lighting, plumbing, doors & windows, internet speed, TV & media, and so forth.   It helps prevent issues that affect guests, you, us thru emergency reports by guests, and ultimately the program saves you multiples of its cost by organizing refresh and repair items, into a tight list during the off season, in report and photo form you can use to get things handled yourself, or sending to a third party(ies) or by asking us for assistance.  This inspection is performed at our cost, demonstrating their partnership and commitment to owner and guest trust.

FAQ’s:

 

Q: Is participation in this inspection required for recently onboarded individuals?

A: 6 months or less since work is complete for onboarding, not required.   This inspection program is an investment in mitigating potential failures, refunds, and negative feedback, with the cost of a single repair potentially many times exceeding the program's total expense.   If you prefer to have it done and you are less than 6 months, please notify us. 

 

Q: Can I do this inspection myself?  

A: Completion confirmation is mandatory to be Acme Completed. It is imperative this inspection be completed by our team to fulfill certification requirements for insurance purposes and contractual obligations with online travel agencies, including Marriott and American Express. Inspection reports will be provided for the remaining Fit & Finish Items, and their completion may be delegated at your discretion.

 

Q: When will I be scheduled? 

A: Generally, May thru October during slower times, during week, when you are least likely to get a booking.  We search each week for the best opportunities, then go. 

 

Q:  Can I be there while the inspection is being done?

A:  Please allow the technician uninterrupted work time, this is a fixed price so they need to get in and out, without distraction. If you wish to add work or guidance, please do so through a response to our ticket, we will do our best to consider or complete on the same timeline.

Q:  Is this inspection mandatory? 

A:  Yep, absolutely. Any top-notch hospitality operation has to have baseline standards, and this is how we ensure we’re always guest-ready without overspending. Trust us on this one—it's one of our specialties, saving you money while delighting guests. The cost is within our pre-approved limit, which is intentional so we can offer you discounted services that benefit you as a host, reduce liability, and minimize those late-night urgent guest calls.

 

Q: Is this the total cost? 

A: Yes for the standard scope of work the price is the price.
