- Heated Spas & Spillovers: Heated water evaporates faster, accelerating mineral deposits. Spillover areas see constant movement and evaporation, which concentrates buildup.
- Chemical Imbalance: Improper pH, alkalinity, or calcium hardness levels in pool water can cause scaling and white mineral streaks to appear quickly.
2. The Impact on Your Vacation Rental
Aesthetic Impact:
Calcium scaling creates white, chalky lines or crust that make even a clean pool appear neglected. Photos taken by guests or inspectors can highlight this as a sign of poor upkeep.
