Why Electric Car Charging? Why Ok2Charge? |
FAQs:Q: Who is the agreement with? A: The Agreement with Ok2Charge will be with the Owner and Ok2Charge directly. ACME will serve as an intermediary and have access to the system if a Guest needs help troubleshooting. Q: Where do funds for usage get paid? A: Once Guests start using the Charger, you will be paid by Ok2Charge directly for all net revenue collected. ACME will not be a participant in this and will not have information on billing specifics. Any questions on billing, revenue, etc, will need to be directed to Ok2Charge. Q: How do I know if my property will qualify for this Electric Car Charging unit to be installed? A: Please reach out to Bryan Smith (Contact info above) to execute a pre-install survey ensuring viability given your electrical setup, as well as provide you with a quote for the installation. Q: How long will it take for someone to charge a typical Car on a 40amp charging station? A: An average statistic would be ~100 miles of range per ~3 hours of charging if a Tesla Model X at 100 KWH battery capacity is getting to ~100 miles of charge, it will typically cost $12-$14 in electricity here in the Coachella Valley. This is going to vary per property and depend on any solar subsidization or shared HOA costs. Q: How much should I charge for the service? We have Owners charging a variety of different rates. You can either charge per hour of usage or a flat rate per day in your Ok2Charge portal. Examples: - Per Hour $3-$8/hour - Per Day $20-$50/day - Free - some owners have a Solar System that subsidizes the cost, and they advertise Free Charging which can be a nice listing differentiator Q: How do Guests sign up or interact with the Charging Station A: Guests are directed to scan a QR code on the Charging Station to engage in the creation of an Ok2Charge account where they can add their payment information and agree to the cost of charging. From there, the Charging Station is released and will allow for Electricity to flow to the Guests vehicle. Q: If I'm at my property for an Owner stay, will I have to pay to use my own Charging Station? A: NO, our system will automatically notify the unit that the stay is an Owner Stay provided you enter the dates you will be at the property in your Owner Portal. If the reservation or stay is not something booked within the Owner Portal, then the Charging Station will not know to allow for Free charging for owners. Conclusion:Overall, whether you decide to go with Ok2Charge or another option, the acceleration of EV's in our drive markets is inevitable. We feel strongly that by installing a system like this, you will gain a competitive advantage in the market!
