Propane Tank Exchange Program

This will guide you through the process and cost of exchanging a tank during and inspection and while a guest/owner is in residence

While we prefer to have each home on a natural gas line, it is cheaper in the overall long haul for owners but there are some instances that it is not feasible and they must continue to use propane tanks.

a) During the arrival inspection the inspector will visually inspect the tank(s) and look at the gauge(s)

If the gauge is in the yellow or red you must replace the tank and leave a full tank. The inspector must note the level of the tank (photo) during their inspection and include it in their arrival report.

Return the empty tank to the warehouse for refilling and notify Property Operations Department.

b) If the tank does not have a gauge installed, one can/will be installed for a $20 charge per tank/per gauge and charged to the owner and they will own the gauge should they ever offboard. The engineers and inspectors will have them on their trucks for ease of installation.

c) If the guest/owner is in residence and the tank runs out, we will be happy to provide another or multiples for separate units, for a flat fee including labor to deliver and swap tanks and remove the empty. This can be done between the hours of 9am to 8pm, 7 days a week

(This is NOT included in the 360 service plan as it is an separate service, not maintenance or repairs)

d) We do offer a subscription to owners should they want to join

3 tanks per month for a flat fee based on the current market rate (Check with Engineering for current propane rates).

More tanks can be provided above and beyond the 3 tanks based on market rate.

If the home has multiple uses (BBQ, Fire Pits) we can create a custom subscription to fit their needs.

Sign up is easy, please contact actionitems@acmehouseco.com
