Adding "Airbnb" Damage Waiver

Adding Damage Waiver "Embedded" vs "Housekeeping"

Issue:

Damage Waiver was set up to add to the "Housekeeping" fee on Airbnb causing cleaning fee to be high when guests search or book.

Solution:

Created separate reservation fee for "Damage Waiver - Airbnb" and updated Unit Fee Pricing for each unit.

Steps: 

1. Open "Reservation Fees"
2. Create Fee "Green button on top right of screen"
3. Use Template "Full" 
4. Named the fee " Damage Waiver - Airbnb"
5. Display Name "Damage Waiver"
6. Charge to:  "Guest"
7. Item: Damage Waiver Fee
8. Select "Yes" for the following
   1. Allow Fee Modification
   2. Allow Fee Removal
   3. Exclude from Insurance
9. Display as "Itemized"
   1. This will separate the fee in Track
10. Do not select "Include all reservation types"
    1. Only select Airbnb as the reservation type
11. Active "Yes"
12. Select Airbnb Product Code - only option will be Embedded
    1. This will include the damage waiver with the rent on Airbnb
13. Posting Type will default to "Required"
14. Date Rage Type "None"
15. Minimum Length of Stay "1"
16. Pricing Model
    1. Use "Flat Pricing"
17. Enable Per Unit Pricing = Yes
    1. This is important as damage waivers vary depending on the home
18. Priced Per "Reservation"
19. Post Date: Checkout
20. Leave the following areas blank
    1. Default amount (Blank)
    2. Default Qty (Blank)
    3. Max Qty (Blank)
    4. Minimum Amount (Blank) 
    5. Maximum Amount (Blank)
    6. Include in Subtotal (Blank)
    7. Split with owner (Blank)
    8. IRM Add-on (Blank)
    9. Require Funding (Blank)
21. Tax Type defaults to "Transient"

THIS COMPLETES THE "RESERVATION FEE" PROCESS

NEXT STEP

1. Open "Unit Fee Pricing"
2. Select the fee you just created
3. Reservation Type "Airbnb"
4. Click "Search"
   1. This opens up all units
   2. Update the price of the damage waiver for each unit
