Adding Early Check in or Late Check out

Please follow these steps to add Early Check in or Late Check out

  1. Check reservation grid to confirm Early Check in or Late departure is available and if it is:
  2. Email or call guest to confirm charges for early check in or late departure

Verbiage: You indicated that you would like an early arrival and late check-out . At this time we can accommodate. The fee would be $99 plus tax and would allow you to arrive by 11am and stay until 3pm.

  1. Modify this if necessary if only requesting one or the other
  1. Go to Track  and  look up the reservation and add note:

Verbiage: Guest inquiring about early check in / late departure (Emailed guest with information) 

Once response from guest is received confirming and authorize the charge

  1. Block the unit (Check in – select 1 day prior to start and select date of check in for end date – For Check out select check out date for the start date and 1 day later for end date)

  1. Go to Track and  change the check in or check out time” whichever applies”


  1. Add a note to reservation and use this verbiage: 11AM Early Check in or 3pm late check out (whichever applies). If both, make 2 separate entries in the notes. Put this in the “Housekeeping” category and mark “special request”
  1. Add the charge in “Fees”
    1. Note: Airbnb and Marriott you have to post the charge in folio as there is not an option in “Fees”
    2. If guest is checking in within 48 hours from request, you must slack Housekeeping


  1. Charge the card on file and email the receipt to the guest.
