After hours- Broken window

This is how you address broken glass or window while guest is in the home.

  • Step 1- . What is broken, how did it break? Is everyone okay? Confirm that everyone is okay & not hurt. If someone was injured, advise them to seek medical attention asap.
  • Step 2- Create a detailed work order and have Mr.Goodboys stop by asap. ALWAYS TAKE PICTURES & INCIDENT REPORT IF GUEST WAS HURT.
  • Step 3- Board up the broken door/window. Clean up all glass, dispatch housekeeping if needed. 
  • Step 4- Send all the details to owner services and management.  MUST SEND A VERY DETAILED EMAIL, INCIDENT REPORT & PICTURES. 
  • Step 5- Follow up with the guest on their status & update on repair. DO NOT BRING UP COMPENSATION
  • Step 6- Work with Owner Services & start calling and scheduling vendors to replace the damaged door/window asap.
