Creating a new SMS Template
1) Go to the Messaging module and navigate to the Templates Manager page.
2) Click on New Template
3) When you create a new template you need to give it

A title
-
A body: character limit count is 1,200
If you do not fill out both of these fields, you will be unable to save the template successfully.
The page will save automatically, and you'll be able to see the last time a template was saved.

Using a SMS Template in a Conversation
If you want to use a template in a conversation, click on the template button in the text input field.
After you select the template button in conversations, the template pop up will open. From the pop up you can:

2. Search for message templates by title
3. Select Manage to go to the template manager
4. Create a new template
If you want to create a new template without navigating to the template manager, you can create one directly from a conversation.
You can select a template by clicking on the title. Once you select the title, the template content will appear in the message text field input.
You can always edit the text once it is in the editor before sending the message.
Using a SMS Template in an Auto-Message
You can select a template when you create a custom stay auto message. You will see the same popup that you access in conversations.
When you select template, you will see the template pop up screen.
Similar to conversations:

Hovering on the template title will show you a preview of the template.

Clicking on the template title will select it and fill the text field.

You can continue editing the text to customize the template appropriately for the message.

Important note: If you edit the template after you add it to the Auto-Message, this will unlink the auto message from the template. This means that if you edit the template it will not update in the Auto-Message where you added it.

Deleting a Template
1) Go to the Templates Manager page
2) Select the template you want to delete
3) You can delete a template by selecting the delete icon
Important note: Deleted templates cannot be recovered!
You will see a pop up confirmation screen to complete the action.
