What are Elements, why are they important, what do they do, how do I use Elements? When do I report an Element?

Building Property Elements

Although most property details get built out as tasks are completed, supplementing with more details provides your team with extra guidance when they are in the field.

 

Go to the Properties tab, find the property you want to add details of, and click on it.

 

 

Elements: you can map out the rooms and living areas in the property, and add specific item information for each. These will appear in the property elements tab. Property elements are segmented into four sections:

 
  • Exterior: Pool/Spa, Landscape & lighting, BBQ, Fire feature, lockbox, trash, outdoor furniture/ Pool Floats
  • Interior: Main entry/foyers/closets, kitchen, dining room, living room, indoor fireplace, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, game room, media room, garage.  
  • Mechanical: Wi-Fi, alarm, HVAC system, Plumbing system, Electrical system 
  • Safety: fire extinguishers, Co2 detectors 


 

Property Elements

Within each section/room, you can add any items that you want to keep a record for.

 

1. Click on the section where the room/living area is located. You might need to create the room before you start adding the items if the rooms are not set up yet. To do this, click on 'Add more elements'.

 

2. After you have added the room/living area where you want to add the item, click on 'Add Item'.

 

In this case, I wanted to add a Coffee Maker to the kitchen in this property.

Notes for field staff to reference

  • 'Sensitive Note' which is visible only to your administrators and supervisors

  • Brand, model, and other item-specific details

  • Documents (e.g. warranty information). Now, if there is an issue with an item, the field staff will know the answers to some of the questions a repair tech may ask.


Bedroom/Bathroom Count

  • When you update the number of bedrooms or bathrooms in your Elements, it will update the bedroom/bathroom count located in your Property Profile

 

Creating an element specific task

You can create Tasks within each element. The 'Activity' tab will surface any tasks that have been scheduled for this element.

Any notes or photos left in the rooms or items of the property details will be visible in the app. To access this, your staff, can click on "More Info."
