Glass Protective Tops Ordering

How to Order Glass Tops?

When you need to order for glass tops, here is how you do it.  As long as the glass is just to protect a surface, it means we will do it 1/4" thick, clear, non tempered. So as long as it is not special glass, matching something else, custom design, just rectangle or square, no special color, the cost is $12 per square foot.  We want you to quote the owner fast, then we will order it.
  • When measuring, please provide the whole sizes to cover, engineering will subtract a bit to undersize it a tiny bit.
  • Always list the location of each piece for ordering and quoting
  • Easy calculations for you so you can quote owner immediately for clear, protective glass!

How to Quote - Doing the Math:

Just do inch width x inch height, divided by 144" to obtain the square feet.  Multiply the square feet  x $12.  That includes tax and delivery to the where house.  Then tell the owner that we do work on Time basis, so the cost to deliver and install, is in addition, which is done at $75 per hour, truck and tech.  If they ask how long, let them know we do not quote time, but we do guess its less and 1.5 hours.
Example:
Location Object Width x Height in  Total Sq inches  Total Sqft (Divide by 144") Price Per Item
bed 1  nightstand 89 x 27.5 2447.5 17 sqft $204
bed 2  nightstand 55  x 44.25 2433.75 17 sqft $204
Dining Room dining table 67 x 22.22 1487.5 10 sqft $120
    Totals 6368.75 44 sqft $528

If you have any questions, first ask the main technician, Danny, if he is not the main technician the please advise so we can change this article.

If the glass is custom shape, size, or color, frosted, etc, please send the entire thing to Danny for quoting first.  The $12 number does not work on custom.
  • SNIPPET TO OWNER FOR QUOTE:   #GLASSPROTECTIVETOPS

  • Add the breezeway task link in to the Hubspot ticket
  • Assign the ticket the "Watch" priority
  • Assign it to Danny, put no due date
  • Slack Danny the task link
