Minimum Furnishing List - What is it & Why?

Use your minimum furnishings to compete and win!

Hello. When you onboarded with Acme, we required list of furnishings & amenities, you provide them, we inspected, you went live.  That list is mostly the same, and still required.   And, there is more opportunity than ever to capitalize on that list as an competitive advantage.  Before guests arrive to Acme, they recieve a link to the list of items, and quantities in each home based on number of bedrooms, we assure them 90% plus, will be present upon arrival.

Not to be braggy :) but we got this right.  Guests are traveling to Live in a home, not stay like a hotel.  They need to plan their stay down to the cooking, dining, playing.  Knowing there are some games, extra blankets, pool floats, that the mattresses and pillows are encased for bed bugs, and knowing the contents of the kitchen, this is invaluable info for a traveler trying to plan their stay.  The reviews are rave for this program.  

Industry Pundits are also talking up the high touch, think of everything business model as the one that will survive a downturn in bookings.  Article by Matt Landau a 20 year industry hospitality marketing consultant.  

Okay here is the sticking point.  We actually need these items to be at your home, or the benefits start to reverse on us!  

The business model of high service, touches, thinking of everything for the guest, this model is winning right now.  Amenities & Reviews are all you have when there are 5 homes available in a neighborhood.  Trust.  When you wow guests, they leave wow type reviews, come back again, refer their friends, and your web ranking increases, booking window increases, ability to raise rates, you got it, increases.  We call that the race to the top.  Whereas if you have so so reviews and are not inspiring a lot of extra love, you are in a race to the bottom during a contracting market. 

There  you have it, we want you to be on the race to the top.  This again, is nothing new, always required.  Only now we are providing the items so you don't have to shop. Also since we cannot accept the list of items delivered to us, as it is logistically beyond challenging, you will not have to deal with it at all.  The last benefit is that when 2 wine glasses break, we have matching ones to add, for a few bucks each, and don't even need to bother you! 

Admittedly it probably seems new, as it has been awhile since we inventoried and asked for the furnishings to be brought up to date, we promise not to go so long next time, and with the update you should be only providing minor things periodically.
